An estate planning/will-writing program for clergy
Do you have a will? If not, you are not alone. In fact, 76% of adults in the United States do not. There are lots of reasons why people haven’t gotten around to writing their will: cost, time, confusion on where to start, and procrastination. The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas wants to help. We’re offering a new program for clergy in which participants, single or couples, will work with an attorney to create their will.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (August 7, 2026)—The Grant Administration Committee of the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas (MFA) Board of Directors awarded a total of 12 grants across its monthly meetings of the second quarter, bringing the committee’s granted funds to $325,514 for the year to date.

Susan Henry-Crowe, current chair of the United Methodist Church’s Judicial Council and former General Secretary of the denomination’s Board of Church and Society, will speak at the upcoming Methodist Foundation for Arkansas Methodist Lawyers Conferences, the first of which is set for Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in Little Rock. Both conferences are free to participants and include opportunities for earning continuing legal education (CLE) credits.
Funding will support fresh produce distribution and school markets serving families across 33 Arkansas counties
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (July 16, 2026)— Arkansas Foodbank is proud to announce it has received a $225,000 grant from the Methodist Foundation for Arkansas to support two critical hunger-relief initiatives: the Fresh Produce Initiative and School Markets program. The investment will help increase access to nutritious food for children, families, and seniors throughout the Foodbank’s 33-county service area.
